When the 2020 pandemic hit, the film and television industries shut down, and people were locked at home with very few options for new content. 3 YouTube content creators got together and began quietly building their empire for a new show that pulled from their favorite aspects of the BBC’s Top Gear – but done on a budget. Season 1 was released and accumulated millions of views, sparking the need to create more episodes, thus Car Trek was born. The show has it all; exotic supercars, affordable daily drivers, and capable (sometimes) overlanders.
